About the A² team.
Makers with heart.
A² Fabrication is more than just a shop — it’s the evolving work of a team of makers led by Archie: a lifelong tinkerer turned carpenter, fabricator, and builder of just about anything you can imagine. Archie and the team enjoy working on both large and small projects. They’ve built cabinetry, custom shelving, large-scale artistic architectural projects, custom displays for events, wedding arches - if you can name it, they’ve probably worked on it. Archie grew up believing that good things take time — and that the best work is always done by hand.
The team consists of creatives across the Bay Area - people
who cut, weld, and sand your ideas into reality. No two projects are ever the same, but each one carries the same signature: thoughtful design, honest materials, and a bit of boldness.
So how does this process work?
1) Let’s Talk Ideas
It starts with a quick chat — phone, email, or a coffee. Tell us what you’re dreaming up: a built-in bookshelf, custom cabinetry, an art installation, or something bigger. We’ll listen, ask the right questions, and figure out what’s possible.
2) Get a quote & a plan
Once we have a clear idea, we’ll put together a simple estimate with timeline, materials, and cost — no surprises. We can refine the design until it feels just right.
3) We build it
Archie and the crew handle every step: sourcing good wood, precise cuts, careful finishing. You’re welcome to check in, see progress, or trust us to handle it.
4) Delivery & install
When it’s ready, we’ll deliver it ourselves and make sure everything fits perfectly — whether it’s a custom cabinet, a sculptural piece for your shop, or an event centerpiece.
